Pupil Parliament
Each class voted for a Member of Parliament. Year 6 students had the opportunity to run for Prime Minister, and during a whole-school assembly, they shared their reasons for wanting to be elected. After the speeches, we held a whole-school polling station to elect our new Prime Ministers.
The purpose of our Pupil Parliament is to encourage students to actively contribute to improving school life and our school community.
As a Member of Parliament, their responsibilities include:
- Making suggestions for changes and improvements
- Attending regular meetings
- Planning whole-school fundraising events
- Engaging with students, gathering feedback, and reporting back during meetings
