Secondary School Transition for Pupils with SEND
For those pupils who require it, enhanced transition will begin in Year 5. Review meetings take place for pupils which will give you as parents/carers chance to meet secondary staff and discuss your child’s needs. This may involve developing a support package with our Educational Psychologist if needed and/ or additional visits to familiarise both you and your child with the routines of secondary school. Links are developed for all pupils with our partner secondary school, Sedgefield School.
